Affected Population:- 90 % to 95 % of Diabetic population Age :- More than 4 0 Years Occurrence :- Y our body either doesn’t make enough insulin or can’t effectively use the insulin it does make. Treatment :- Oral Antidiabetic Drugs (OAD’s) , insulin injections Other name :- Mature onset Diabetes or NIDDM ( Non Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus ).
