Medical Detection Dogs works to pioneer the research that enables dogs to detect the odour in human beings through the power of their noses Medical Detection Dogs are trained to detect diseases such as, Parkinson's, cancer, Type 1 diabetes and now even covid!  The charity achieve this by training them into  bio-detection dogs  and  medical alert dogs .

How Can  We Help? To train a Medical Alert Assistance Dog is expensive - costing approximately £29,000 Fundraising events have been put on hold or cancelled due to the current pandemic, as a result the charity has experienced a fall in revenue Areas of focus: Tradition Marketing Department – Feels they could be involved more within the community Limited time frame of the Action Project - Our efforts could be better directed towards creating awareness as opposed to fundraising

Do research individually to avoid being parochial and gain a wider perspective by bringing in eclectic ideas.

Considering   the   current   situation   with   the  Covid-19   pandemic, we   decide   that   it   was   best   to   to   have   online   events   as   it   would   be   accessible   to   everyone,   and   the   event   would   not   be   affected   in   case   of   a   lockdown.
