If over head electrical line exits, Wooden Leveling staffs & ranging rods were used for the surveying to prevent electric shocks. Safety Measures On Column Activities.. Calculate and ensure the availability of Scaffolding materials for the particular overhead tank/ elevated service reservoir well ahead. A trained scaffold competent person/ site engineer monitor the scaffolding structure. Only trained scaffold workmen erect/ dismantle the scaffold. Materials are being shifted manually to normal heights by using Industrial Pulley. Ensure the scaffolding materials are properly stacked and well maintained. Ensure the Adequate working Platform with double hand rails, Edge protection, Secondary containment net & Life line anchoring arrangements..

Ensures Safety net tied above the 1.8m height from the current working location to avoid fear factor to engaged Workmen. Ensured Continuous Life line arrangements at the current working location. Landing platform that connects stair case and the Base Slab/ Top Slab Area has been fully guarded with Double Hand rails.

Safety Measures On Base & Top Slab Activities.. Ensures the safe working load of the Working Platform. Maintain each Working Platform in good working order and inspects daily. Ensures Safety Nets along edge to prevent fall from height. Safety net mesh openings have a maximum size of 10 cm x 10 cm and be secured at each crossing to prevent elongation of the opening. Safety nets installed as close as possible to the working level to avoid Gaps. Ensured Secondary containment nets, 6m below the working level. The safety nets extended out at least 2m from the side of the open edge. Ensures Safety net tied above the 1.8m height from the current working location to avoid fear factor to engaged Workmen. Ensured Continuous Life line arrangements at the current working location. Landing platform that connects stair case and the Base Slab/ Top Slab Area has been fully guarded with Double Hand rails.
