[Audio] Wind Energy By Johan. abstract. By Johan.
[Audio] How is Wind Energy created? Wind energy is created by wind turbines. Wind turbines are machines that have the ability to channel the energy of the wind and turn it into electricity we can use. The wind moves the blades of the turbines, which are attached to a rotor which is a mechanic in a turbine. The rotor then spins a generator which creates electricity. Then that electricity goes to our houses and helps with our daily electricity needs. That is how and why we need wind turbines..
[Audio] Wind Farms As renewable energy technology continue to get more advance day by day and grow in popularity, wind farms have become an increasingly common sight along hills, fields, or even offshore in the ocean. A wind farm, which is also called a wind power station is a group of wind turbines in the same location used to produce electricity. Wind farms change in size from a small number of turbines to several hundred wind turbines covering an extensive area. Many of the largest onshore wind farms are in China, India, and the United States. For example, the largest wind farm in the world, Gansu Wind Farm in China had a capacity of over 6,000 MW (Megawatts) by 2012, with a goal of 20,000 MW by 2020.
[Audio] This is the Pros and Cons of Wind Energy..
[Audio] This is how the inside of a wind turbine looks like..
[Audio] Conclusion Wind Energy has helped many people. The wind turbines do not release emissions that can pollute the air or water. Wind turbines may also reduce the amount of electricity generation from fossil fuels. That is why wind energy is really helpful in life..
