What am I doing?

[Virtual Presenter] Welcome to Life Notes for 22 January 2024! We’re going to discuss what you’re doing!.

[Audio] When I say objective, at times I get weird looks from the audience. So, I say what do you want to DO? What target is in your sight? Do you have a goal for the year? Month? Week? How about TODAY? Your timeframe can be Out there somewhere, or maybe it's something that can be done in the next hour..

[Audio] GOMS simply stands for Growth, Organization, Marketing and Steps you need to take to accomplish those..

[Audio] I suggest that you do not try to accomplish all your goals at one time or at the same time. This tactic produces chaos and NO or POOR results. Develop a plan of attack - a System. What canpaign will you create to generate Growth? How will you approach Marketing your organization, product or service?.

[Audio] This will seem pretty simple. Decide on which area you want to improve First. Then, establish your Plan, your system of improvement. Next, you MUST take Action on the Steps you have strategized! DAILY look at what you're doing, tweak where necessary, don't make Major changes to your Plans until 30 days of implementation..

[Audio] YOU as the Leader should have a Vision for where you want you Team to go, then MODEL THAT BEHAVIOR! You will be astounded how the Team will gel around your example!.

[Audio] No matter what you want to do, there needs to be a Strategy to create the results you want..

[Audio] Take Charge! Figure out the MAIN thing you want to achieve. Take Note. Lay out the plan, the system to get it done..

[Audio] Evaluate! What is the best angle from which to initiate these steps? Seek. There must be a continuous, honest assessment of what's working and what's not..
