Workflow orchestration Taskcount based push model with Qgenda integration.
Goal of the epic. A big problem that manager of Radiology department face is the fact that radiologists cherry pick readings for several reasons . They request the system to push tasks to radiologists to achieve a more honoust workload spread and have the report created by the person with the right/best qualifications ..
[Audio] A head of department plans a workschedule upfront by creating tasklists per specialty, scheduling shifts in Qgenda or the shift manager in EI, assigning these tasklists to Qgenda shifts and linking each radiologist to a shift. This way he controls the work that the radiologist will perform. When Peter logs in in the morning the system looks up which shift he's working in, looks up the tasks and automatically assigns to him a number of tasks taking into account the tasklist priority. The number of tasks that is automatically assigned is configurable per shift. Using the setup orchestrator logic cherry picking easy or lucrativ studies is prevented. Peter uses the smartlist activity overview when working in a shift. This activity overview only contains one tasklist with the tasks that are assigned to him by the system. The system displays the number of oustanding tasks for the shift. The system will evaluate on regular basis if Peter's tasklist contains enough tasks according to the workload algorithm used which in this case is based on taskcount, and assign additional tasks when needed. The head of department can configure the period before the end of the shift when the system should stop assigning additional tasks to users. This allows them to clear their worklists before the end of the shift. When Peter logs off the remaining tasks in his tasklist are redistributed to the radiologist group. The head of department can monitor the active workload in the different shifts. When the load of a shift becomes too high and SLA deadlines are tight, he can decide to overflow the workload to other shifts by adding the related tasklists to other shifts (or have radiologists join extra shifts?). Shift changes are notified to the related users. The head of department can monitor the performance of each radiologist during the shift..
