[Audio] Executive Summary Enhancing the roles of student branches through IEEE SB Connect IEEE student branches ( SBs) are playing an important role and mostly responsible for the first introduction of a student to IEEE. With all the tools and resources available to the SBs, they sometimes lose the pace and end-up in inactive status. Through this program ( VoLT) our team is interested to propose a solution which can contribute along with the available resources to facilitate the SBs in their routine functions and activities. The proposed solution is " IEEE SB Connect", an interactive website with following features: A branch level reporting facility to monitor the branch performance by the counselor. Reminders for arranging membership drives on regular basis to target new students. Regular evaluations and reward programs for SB's organizing committee members. Announcements for open grants and projects for students. IEEE volunteer repository containing speakers from diverse backgrounds. IEEE young leaders training and motivation programs at branch level. IEEE being the world's largest technical professional organization already provided several resources specially for the SBs, our aim is to introduce the students with this simpler website at first and then familiarize with the overall system through step by step training and experiences..

[Audio] Business Problem/ Opportunity Mr. Chigozie Enemoh IEEE Student Branches currently have a challenge in identifying all benefits and action steps from the IEEE ecosystem for their Organizationals Units( OU) and Regions in a single repository of opportunities available. This has resulted to students within several student branches( SBs) missing out on vital information on opportunities like scholarships, grants, trainings, sponsorships to attend conferences and mentorship programs which would have been beneficial to the students. Opportunity Our website will serve as a confluence of important information on how to run a student branch effectively and how to access all necessary information of the benefits within IEEE for the student community..

[Audio] Product/Service Offering The project titled is IEEE SB Connect "a website to facilitate the SBs operations". It will include the following modules: a simple online reporting form for branch level event reporting. a ready tool-kit to be used for membership drives (containing all the information and materials). a monitoring system to evaluate the monthly performance of SB's organizing committee members by the counselor. a repository for IEEE volunteers where local volunteers can register themselves, evaluated by counsellor and then will be accessible for the events. an announcement and broadcasting module to update all the members about important events, grants etc. a training module comprising of online courses, lectures for young professional/ leaders training. At this level we plan to start with this basic interactive website to enhance the role of SBs and helps them in sating active within their respective region..

[Audio] Market Strategy We will be using digital marketing on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp, and other social media platforms for robust/seamless online presence. Another technique which we will prefer to use is Target Audience Marketing ( TAM), it is used to market the various categories of consumers by segmenting the target audience..

Scene 7 (5m 4s)

[Audio] Distribution Strategy Our distribution strategy aims to drive easy access to our users to meet our goals. We will adopt these methods. Targeted Campaigns We direct Campaigns to our potential users via Collaboratec, vTools, eNotice, and Facebook, Instagram. Website There will be a dedicated URL for those that prefer to access it from anywhere in the world..

Scene 8 (5m 36s)

[Audio] Financial Considerations Design software using open source available tools ( canva https://www.canva.com/) which are free. Web page which will be free by using assistance from IEEE. It would be suggested if only one page per section is created and each Student Branch uploads all its related events on that page. https://site.ieee.org/web-hosting-request/.

Scene 9 (6m 3s)

[Audio] Implementation Strategy Project implementation will have three major phases. Throughout the process, we propose to follow the AGILE methodology. Data Collection Phase: connect IEEE leadership bodies ( MGA, Sections, Subsections) and collect the actual data about currently available Resources. Development Phase: This phase includes all the Website development, and Graphics required. Promotion: Open call for ambassadors, webinars, etc..
