[Audio] Halliburton Multi-Chem water treatment business offers a complete line of industrial water treatment chemicals and field engineering services. The water treatment products are primarily produced at the Geismar Facility and delivered to our customers, where our field group provides highly trained engineering/project staff services for our customers to enhance product performance, reliability, and efficiency. All treatment programs are monitored by field analysis and advanced laboratory equipment to ensure proper treatment performance..
[Audio] The Geismar facility produces chemicals used to treat specific processes as well as the following system types: Cooling Towers Boiler and Steam systems Influent systems And Wastewater systems.
[Audio] This is a brief look at a section of our manufacturing facility. Our plant focuses on creating material blends as opposed to reacting chemicals. From a process safety standpoint, this reduces our vulnerability to process safety events, and we are not considered a PSM facility..

[Audio] Safety is everyone's responsibility. It is critical that we can account for your presence while you are on site. In the event of an emergency, we will be utilizing the visitor log and the badging system, so please ensure that you have signed the visitors log and have received a badge. Please be sure to badge in and out upon entering and exiting the facility. At the end of your visit, please sign out and return your badge to the receptionist.
[Audio] The minimum PPE requirements include hard hat, safety glasses with side shields, and safety shoes that have a composite or steel toe. As you enter into the warehouse you will notice a redline, which is the demarcation line for entering the process area. Once you are in the process area the minimum PPE is required..
[Audio] We have signs throughout the site to prompt you for when additional PPE is required. Safety glasses with side shields, for example, are required in the laboratory. For your safety and others, please adhere to all signage..
[Audio] This is a drug free facility, and smoking is prohibited once inside of the facility. Please note that smoking is allowed in the parking lot area. Weapons are not allowed on site. This is for the safety of our employees and visitors..
[Audio] Our site consists of both production and shipping, and there is a potential for significant fork truck and other vehicle traffic. Please listen for vehicles, make eye contact with drivers to ensure you can cross in front of their path. Utilize man doors when possible, to ensure that you do not accidently walk into a driver's blind spot..
[Audio] We want to make sure that you have the right to know what chemicals you may potentially be exposed to. Please ask your escort, the HSE Department or any Athlon Employee for safety data sheets if you have questions..
[Audio] In the event of an emergency, you should listen carefully to the emergency alerts and follow the directions given. The following slides will inform you about what you should do in an emergency..
[Audio] There are two types of emergency alert sounds The Muster Alert which is over the P.A. System, and the evacuation alarm..
[Audio] The Muster Alert sound is 4 short blast over the P.A. System. The alert will be followed by a verbal message depending on the location and nature of the emergency. The Muster Alert will sound something like this..
[Audio] The evacuation alarm will be in sequences of three blasts with a short pause between each sequence..
[Audio] The muster point is located in the downstairs kitchen and hall area. Once you are at the muster station the site manager or senior manager on duty will wither order an evacuation, a shelter in place or employees and visitors will stay at the Muster station. The site manager or senior manager on duty will take accountability at the muster point. The visitor logbook and badging system log will be the primary means of taking accountability..
[Audio] When the muster alert sounds, employees and visitors will need to listen and follow the directions given over the P.A. system and immediately report to either the muster station or evacuation point. When the evacuation alarm sounds employees and visitors will immediately report to the evacuation point..

System by dialing 8060 on any office phone and state the emergency, or Activate the Evacuation alarm by pressing the red button located in the blue box in the hallway outside of the receptionist area. You will need to hold down the button for 3 seconds. In the event of a fire use the fire pulls located throughout the facility to activate the evacuation alarm..
