Scene 1 (0s)

[Virtual Presenter] Patterson Tubular Services is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. While in our facilities, we want to ensure that everyone is aware of the necessary safety requirements. I will be going over some topics so we can work together to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Scene 2 (20s)

[Virtual Presenter] We will cover emergency procedures, personal protective equipment, worksite activities in the yard and inspection buildings, wildlife risks and stop work authority. After the presentation you will have a better understanding of the safety guidelines at Patterson Tubular and how to stay safe while in our facility.

Scene 3 (38s)

[Virtual Presenter] It is important to be aware of the emergency procedures in case of an emergency. There are no planned drills today. In case of an emergency you will hear a sequence of loud air horn blasts that will be dependent on the type of emergency. It is important to remain calm and follow the instructions of the chaperones who will guide you to the nearest muster point. Emergency situations can happen unexpectedly so it is important to always remain vigilant and follow the safety guidelines in place. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask.

Scene 4 (1m 13s)

[Virtual Presenter]It is crucial to adhere to personal protective equipment requirements when working on a worksite. This includes wearing a hard hat, safety glasses, and steel toe boots. If you plan to interact with any of the pipe or material in the yard you will need the appropriate hand protection for the task being executed. We urge all visitors to inform their chaperon if P-P-E is needed and we will do our best to provide the necessary equipment.

Scene 5 (1m 39s)

[Virtual Presenter] If you will be visiting the pipe yard, be aware of forklifts around the yard as material is being loaded and unloaded. Please give forklift and other heavy equipment the right of way while on the yard. Crane activities can be held anywhere on the yard so please be aware the area you will be visiting. Any third party reps performing work on the yard will need to hold their own JSA prior to the task.

Scene 6 (2m 1s)

[Virtual Presenter] The speed limit in the Channelview facility is 10 miles per hour. We do not allow the use of phones while driving on our facility. Stay alert for fork lifts and other heavy equipment while on premises. Please follow these guidelines to help maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Scene 7 (2m 18s)

[Virtual Presenter] If you will be visiting the inspection and maintenance buildings PPE is also required. Stay vigilant of moving conveyors and heavy equipment moving pipe across the work areas. If you will be performing third party work for PTS please perform a JSA for the task you will be performing.

Scene 8 (2m 34s)

[Virtual Presenter] We recommend that you stay vigilant while visiting racks in the yard and keep an eye out for any wildlife. Coyotes, hogs, snakes, and alligators can be encountered while at the facility. If you encounter any of these please notify your chaperone. We prioritize the safety of our visitors and employees and have taken measures to ensure that any wildlife encounters are handled promptly and safely.

Scene 9 (2m 58s)

[Virtual Presenter] STOP WORK AUTHORITY is top priority. Our stop work authority empowers you and every individual to stop work if they see any unsafe operations or environmental issues. We have implemented safety controls to ensure that any unsafe conditions are identified and addressed immediately. We urge all employees to use their stop work authority and report any unsafe operations or environmental issues to chaperones for immediate action and resolution.

Scene 10 (3m 23s)

[Virtual Presenter] We take the safety of our employees and visitors very seriously and have implemented various guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. As you move throughout the facility please observe the signs and follow the instructions provided to ensure your safety. If you have any questions or concerns please ask your chaperone or reach out to one of our HSE representatives.
