General Safety Rules. Vehicles: No private vehicles allowed in the terminal unless authorized by HSE department. Entry of vehicles in the terminal shall be only for load / offload / transport of materials and should follow Reverse parking Only diesel driven vehicles with spark arrestor & reverse alarm permitted inside the terminal facility. No mobile phones while driving. Strictly adhere to the speed limit – 20km/hr. Do not leave vehicle unattended while engine is ‘ON’.
General Safety Rules. Working safely is the responsibility of everyone. Line of Fire. Statistics shows that majority of the industrial accidents are due to personnel in the ‘Line of Fire’ as one of the direct / contributory causes. Line of Fire – a situation where no barrier exists in between the hazard and the personnel. A failure can lead to injury. E.g.: Personnel standing under a suspended load. AVOID LINE OF FIRE.
Stop work authority. Everyone has the right to stop a task if found potentially unsafe.
