Planning phase.

Scene 7 (1m 28s)

Planning phase. My first stage in planning was Defining the problem to find a solution to it. The problem was that students don’t have enough knowledge and skills that help them to choose the correct major and university for them after graduation.

Scene 8 (1m 47s)

Learning Outcome. Students will be prepared to choose the major they want after graduation. Students will have enough information about three new majors of their choice, they will study the foundation of each one and will have an exam that can show them their level. Students have one online class about the new majors and future careers that are related to each one. Students will have the option to choose any major they are interested in, then they will have one month course, that covers the basics for each major and at the end, they will have exams. Students after one month of taking the course will have a certificate that will show their level, furthermore the certificate will give them the priority to be accepted into the university or colleges. Students will have a clear understanding of each major requirement and required subjects to be studied. Students will be introduced to the technologies that they will use and are related to the major they will choose. Students will be able to take decisions about their future major, by examining the skills that are needed for each major. Students will get the knowledge and skills they need, before entering college or university..

Reflection. My planning phase was so important for me because it helps me to organize my ideas. I started to think about a problem that faced me, or I noticed with other students, then I decide to make an educational program that will help to solve this problem. This phase is called either the needs assessment or the problem definition phase. After that, I start to write my outcomes for the program. What the students will gain during and after joining the program. I write the outcome that follows SMART outcomes which are specific, measurable, Achievable, relevant, and time-bound. Then I draw the Wh -concept map which helps me a lot in organizing my ideas about the program. I write the outline for my project which will help me to start writing all the information I need about my program. I organize it in phases, and I will follow the logic model to make the phases clear..
