The  act  was ﬁrst  proposed  in  1991  by  P.V.  Narasimha  Rao.  In  2006,  it  was    ﬁnally   accepted   in   the   parliament   and   commenced   implementation   in   625    districts   of   India. The   Indian   government   has   taken   several   steps   to   decrease   the   unemployment    rate   like   launching   the   Mahatma   Gandhi   rural   employment   guarantee   scheme    which   guarantees   a   100-day   employment   to   an   unemployed   person   in   a   year.

It   has   been   implemented   in   200   of   the   districts   and   further   will   be   expanded   to    600  communities.  In  exchange  for  working  under  this  scheme,  the  person  is    paid   150   per   day.

Overall, it will require a concerted effort from both the government and the private sector to create more job opportunities and ensure that individuals have the skills and resources needed to access them..

As   a   social   entrepreneur   I   would   create   an   NPO   which   provides    education,   training,   and   employment   for   people   who   are not   educated   and   are   socially   deprived   by   the   society Through   this   NPO   a   group   of   unemployed   people   who   are   selected   and    a   sufﬁcient   amount   of   training   is   given   and   the   person   gets   skilled   in   a    job For   example,   women   are   taught   stitching,   tailoring,   call   center   jobs,   lab    technicians,  and  other  domestic  work that  can  thought  in  order  for    t h e m   t o   g e t   ﬁ n i c a ll y   s t a b l e . Men   are   taught   to   drive   cars,   learn   hotel   management   skills,   and   work    in   online   apps   that   need   deliveries   to   be   done.
