[Audio] This slide will discuss the UDM LEARRN program or Unang Daan para sa Mag-aaral Localized Educational Ayuda for Responsible and Reliable New Generation, which provides cash assistance to public elementary, high school, and college students in the Municipality of Midsayap. Spearheaded by Mayor Rolly “Ur Da Man” Sacdalan, the program aims to make education more accessible and affordable for the new generation and emphasizes the role of family and community in the education of youth. [Audio] UDM LEARRN is a program that provides educational assistance to three specific groups of individuals. These groups include elementary public school pupils, high school students who have shown academic excellence in both public and private schools, and qualified students in collegiate level institutions. To be eligible for the program, these individuals must pass an exam and an interview. Let's now examine the different components of this program..

[Audio] The UDM LEARRN framework of shared responsibility is crucial in ensuring the success and sustainability of our program. This framework allocates necessary funds for a cash grant per child, providing them with the resources they need to excel in their education. We also need the support of the LGU, the school, and the family to make a significant impact on the holistic development of our students. To promote sustainable and healthy living, we are calling on everyone to establish Gulayan sa Paaralan, a program that promotes gardening. This initiative aims to instill the value of self-sufficiency and environmental responsibility in our students. We must also ensure at least 90% attendance of the child, as this will help us identify and address any potential barriers to their education. Our commitment to program development also includes the Plant a Tree program, which involves our students in shaping them into responsible and caring individuals, both for themselves and the environment. [Audio] In slide number 5 of our training video on consumer/creative education, we will be discussing the operating budget for schools in the region of XN, with a specific focus on Rapacon Elementary School. This budget, also known as the School Operating Budget (SOB), is crucial for the smooth functioning of the school and providing quality education to students. The total operating budget for Rapacon Elementary School is PHP 500.00, divided into different categories such as English, Mathematics, Science, Filipino, and Araling Panlipunan. Additionally, funds are allocated for student organizations, including the Student Provincial Government, sports, Boy Scouts of the Philippines, and Girl Scouts of the Philippines. These organizations play a vital role in developing the skills and leadership qualities of our students. A portion of the budget is also designated for essential services, such as cleanliness, ICT and health services, and maintenance of the school premises to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment. The Ormoc Revolving Fund is available for urgent and unforeseen expenses, while the Ground Improvement Fund is used for the maintenance and enhancement of the school grounds. As educators, it is crucial for us to understand the significance of the operating budget and effectively manage our resources to provide the best education for our students. On slide thirteen, we see the Gulayan sa Baranggay program at Juan Dillo Elementary School. This program was created to promote healthy and sustainable living in the community by having a vegetable garden. The students not only learn about self-sufficiency, but also have a positive impact on the environment by growing their own fresh produce. This program is a great example of how consumer and creative practices can be incorporated into our local communities, and we can all be inspired by the efforts of the Juan Dillo students. [Audio] The project "Villarica Elementary School Gulayan sa Paaralan" is featured on this slide. It involves students cultivating a vegetable garden on the school grounds. This project promotes a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, while also teaching important values such as responsibility and cooperation to our students. The Gulayan sa Paaralan project has been highly successful, with enthusiastic student participation in planting and maintaining the garden. Not only does the garden provide fresh produce for the school, but it also serves as a hands-on learning experience for the students. They gain knowledge about different plants, their growth cycles, and the importance of caring for the environment. Additionally, the project encourages creativity as students are allowed to design and decorate their designated plots in the garden. This ownership and pride in their work motivates them to invest in the success of the project. We are proud that this project has benefitted not only our students but also our entire school community. It has brought us closer together and created a greener and more sustainable environment. [Audio] On slide 15, there is a table that presents the data for the next three school years. The left side displays the academic years 2022-2023, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025. The top row shows the two types of schools - elementary and high school, and the right side shows the total amount for each year. The first row displays a total of 7,857,990 Philippine pesos for elementary schools and 2,600,700 Philippine pesos for high schools, with a fee of 500 Philippine pesos for elementary and 300 Philippine pesos for high schools. This adds up to a total of 10,458,690 Philippine pesos for the academic year 2022-2023. In the following year, the amount for elementary schools increases to 8000000 Philippine pesos and 2,596,500 Philippine pesos for high schools, with the same fees, resulting in a total of 10,596,500 Philippine pesos. In the last academic year, the amount for elementary schools decreases to 3,775,750 Philippine pesos and the amount for high schools increases to 2,134,750 Philippine pesos, with a fee of 250 Philippine pesos for both.
