Why should you invest in cryptocurrencies rather than trade? Cryptocurrencies are here to stay to change the financial world. Blockchain technology will change the whole financial industry and give all the investors financial freedom.  Trading is referred when you are entering a coin or a stock for a short period of time and exiting within hours or days or at maximum 2 weeks which is profitable but will not be able to give you that financial freedom and get you that retirement fund. So, invest for the long term to get the monumental gains everyone talks about in the crypto world. Investing takes a long term approach, trading has more risk involved rather than investing for a longer period of time in something you believe in.

What are cryptocurrencies? A cryptocurrency is a digital or  virtual currency  that is secured by cryptography, which makes it nearly impossible to counterfeit or double-spend. Most of the cryptocurrencies are decentralized networks based on  blockchain  technology, a distributed ledger enforced by a disparate network of computers. A defining feature of cryptocurrencies is that they are generally not issued by any central authority, rendering them theoretically immune to government interference or manipulation. The first blockchain-based cryptocurrency was  Bitcoin , which still remains the king of cryptocurrencies and the most valuable one. It is like digital gold, a store of value. Today, there are thousands of alternate cryptocurrencies with various utilities and specifications. Some of these are clones or  forks  of Bitcoin, while others are new currencies that were built from scratch.  Bitcoin was launched in 2009 by an individual or group known by the pseudonym " Satoshi Nakamoto ."  As there has been a spike in the rate of adoption, I here am going to do a full technical analysis of it from its inception, then you can decide for yourself if it is the right investment for you or not.

You could sign up and do your KYC  here  to start investing.  In USA or UK, Binance and Coinbase are one of the best exchanges as well. All  you need to do is just sign up and do the KYC by uploading your identification, etc.  The alternative to that is by downloading a wallet and setting it up. The best wallet out there is Metamask and Trust Wallet. You can buy cryptocurrencies directly from there and hold it on it. You can download it  here .  ### Never lose or forget your seed phrase for your wallet as you can lose all your coins/funds if you do so as it cannot be retrieved back.

Trading View Setup We wil l use the free version of TradingView for this course or else you can use the paid version as well.  We will use this to track all the prices of the cryptocurrencies and learn how to add it to the watchlist, add indicators, etc.
