Because invention education bolsters the ability to identify and solve real world problems important to students and their communities, increases interest in S-T-E-M-, cultivates empathy, creativity, and grit, creates an entrepreneurial mindset, and enables under resourced populations to create impactful companies and become employers. The curriculum is designed to be flexible and additive, allowing participants to create their own program. With a focus on practical application, the program fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.

We seek to promote risk taking, leadership skills, and innovation among the next generation of earthlings. Entrepreneurship is used as a tool to teach the fundamentals of building and running a business. Our intention is not to create founders out of high school students, although this may occur. Instead, we believe the skills and traits that define successful entrepreneurs are essential in any aspect of life: taking ownership, forming alliances, seeking guidance and applying feedback, inspiring teams without direct authority, and persevering through difficult circumstances with poise and determination.

The young entrepreneurs we're discussing today are not ordinary individuals. They are businessmen and entrepreneurs who have the potential to create something new, innovative, and valuable. These young entrepreneurs are the future leaders of our economy, and it's crucial we provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve success.

Startups are exploration vehicles that take us on a journey from problem to solution, product to market, and fit to scale. We've built something people want, but have we really solved the problem? And if we have, how do we deliver so much value to our customers?

The Entrepreneurship Lab is designed to support students through three phases of growth, each building upon the previous one to provide progressively more independence and expectations. In Phase 1, small teams practice local competitions, where students learn the basics and work together. As they advance to Phase 2, they become self organized and refined by their mentors, participating in global competitions to hone their skills and learn from others. T-Y-E has witnessed numerous impressive projects emerge from its programs, transcending regional boundaries. Notably, Vali, a project from T-Y-E Detroit 2016, exemplified innovative entrepreneurship. Moreover, Veripad, showcased at CES 2018, demonstrated the far reaching impact T-Y-E can have globally. These examples illustrate the vast potential that lies beyond our current scope. We are eager to venture into uncharted territories and push the limits of what is feasible.

The Living Curriculum is designed to be flexible and adaptable, comprising two phases: Phase 1 and Phase 2.
