Now, let’s see in which components we have gear ratios

Why First Gear? It’s the gear that multiplies torque the most

The best torque is produced by the transfer case in 4L

The engine supplies the torque to the gearbox

The Torque from the engine is multiplied by the gear ratio of the first gear (4.46:1)

The new torque value makes its way to the transfer case

The torque is then multiplied by the crawl ratio of the transfer case in 4L (4.0:1)

The new torque value is then split by the transfer case into two, for the front and the rear wheels.

The torque is then transmitted to the differentials along the axles

At the end of the axles, the torque gets multiplied by the gear ratio of the axle  diffrentials  (4.10:1)

Now ,the torque is again divided by two, to split between left and right.

The final multiplied torque is now directly supplied to each wheel of the Wrangler Rubicon
