Direct contact can result in severe skin burns, and splashes may cause permanent eye damage. Even very small quantities of TMAl are dangerous, requiring careful handling at all times..

[Audio] T.M.A.l is also pyrophoric and highly flammable. It ignites instantly on contact with air, and even minor leaks can trigger fire or explosion. It reacts violently with moisture, producing intense heat, flammable gases, and toxic by-products. Improper handling, accidental spills, or uncontrolled exposure can escalate hazards rapidly, putting both personnel and equipment at risk. Strict controls are required from the start to prevent any exposure to air, avoid accidental ignition during pump removal, protect personnel from toxic vapors, and ensure safe isolation, purging, and handling throughout the process. Only trained personnel with proper personal protective equipment should perform these operations, following all safety protocols meticulously.".
