[Audio] In the technology enabled world, it is necessary that trainers, education providers will need to know how to integrate technology seamlessly into their curriculum instead of viewing it as an add-on, an afterthought, or an event.

[Audio] To apply the findings, the team has decided to consult the services of Wizlearn Technologies who is the leading solution/consultancy provider of elearning content and Learning Management system.

[Audio] To start off, we analysis the training outcomes of a course " PET Care 101" based on the current delivery methods such as using powerpoint, lecturer notes, surveys
In the analysis, From the final quiz assessment, only 50% of learners achieve 80% passing rate
From the surveys, Learners feedback lack of good illustrations photos used. Powerpoint notes are largely text based, and usage of cartoons instead of real photos.

Analysis From the final quiz assessment, only 50% of learners achieve 80% passing rate From the surveys, Learners feedback lack of good illustrations photos used.  Powerpoint  notes are largely text based, and usage of cartoons instead of real photos

[Audio] After discussing, we decided to try the 1st method which is convert the final quizzes into Pre-Post quiz questions Trainers can analysis the results from the pre and post quiz questions so as to better gauge the learners' understanding. With the features of the learning management system, the trainers can also create a question bank and prepare different sets of questions for different learner groups.

What has Changed after applying method 1 and 2?

“Method 1” For those who passed the pre-quizzes, 90% of learners are able to pass the post quiz For those who did not passed the pre-quizzes, 70% are unable to pass the post quizzes Using the current materials,  60%  of the Learners expressed gaining more knowledge after the course

“Method 2” For those who passed the pre-quizzes,  95%  of learners are able to pass the post quiz For those who did not passed the pre-quizzes,  50%  are unable to pass the post quizzes With the illustrations/videos,  50%  of the Learners expressed gaining more knowledge after the course

However, do note that even with both methods, the post survey results still do not show a major increase in the learners understanding and knowledge gain towards the course..
