Scope of Work. Decommissioning Dismantle and disconnect existing escalator parts. Mobilization of escalator parts from the site. Temporarily dismantle and reinstall architectural elements affecting tenant areas.. 

Scene 1

Decommissioning
 Dismantle and disconnect existing escalator parts. Mobilization of escalator parts from the site. Temporarily dismantle and reinstall architectural elements affecting tenant areas.

Building structure and Truss Assessment 
 Conduct structure integrity tests on escalator shaft pit foundations. Conduct structural tests and assessments, and provide a signed-off report by a Structural Engineer. Inspect truss for certification, perform repairs, and strengthen if necessary.

Installation Works
 Design, supply, and install components for refurbishment of two (2) escalator units. Design and install new electrical components, including cabling, wiring, and necessary accessories. Provide necessary tagging, nameplates, and labeling for all installed components.

Testing and Commissioning
 Execute Quality Assurance/Quality Control tests after completion of works. Arrange testing and commissioning sessions for the installed equipment. Propose and execute necessary tests and inspections to ensure legislative requirements and standards are met. Submit a comprehensive Test Report to the Employer.

Defect Liability Period (DLP) & Equipment Performance Warranty.

Term Twenty-four (24) months.
 Excludes damages from wear and tear, improper use, vandalism, abuse, neglect, or other causes beyond the Contractor's control.
 Coverage Correction, rectification, or remedial work Submission relevant data for review Obtaining necessary permissions and approvals Regular updates with current outstanding defect items, expected closing dates, and proposed actions for unrectified defects  Submission of comprehensive reports post-rectification

 Maintenance Providing maintenance throughout the Defect Liability Period Compliance with regulations set by the DOSH On-call availability with prompt responses



 Performance Service Level Requirement: Response Time at Site:  ≤ 15 min Rectification/Repair Time:  ≤ 1 hour
 Non-Performance Fine : Response Time at Site: RM85.00 per event Rectification/Repair Time: RM85.00 per event
