The account manager ensures that there is a good relationship between Puma and the client which is  Dua  Lipa throughout the campaign. He/she makes sure that  Dua  Lipa delivers what is expected which would be putting the shoes in a good light and telling the audience why they’re different from other shoes also  Dua  Lipa benefits as she associates herself with a well-known brand

The types of stakeholders that an account manager will have to manage

The account manager will have to deal with Human Resources they will help with the recruitment of staff. They will also assist with the managing of staff for example if the Account manager at Puma has a difficult employee to deal with during the Puma Power campaign the HR function will resolve the matter by mediating through the matter or by taking disciplinary measures.

Scene 7

The account manager will have to deal with the Financial department of a conglomerate. This is with regards to the money allocated by the Head of the Financial department and also the assistance of an accountant or financial manager to help manage the finances of the marketing Project for example McDonalds Financial department can allocate R1millon to the account manager which will be managed by a senior accountant.

Scene 8

The account manager will have to deal with the Marketing department this will be with regards to where to market, how to market etc, market research on who to market to, when to get the most audience when marketing etc, for example the account manager can require that the Marketing department do research before the marketing campaign for Puma commences.

Scene 9

The account manager will have to deal with suppliers. This can be suppliers for marketing material such as flyers, gazebos, billboard POV, merchandise, boards, cardboard cut outs etc, for example dealing with the suppliers of the new packaging for Pumas rebranding for their new campaign.

Scene 10

The account manager will have to deal with procurement for comparing of quotes purchasing and dealing with suppliers on their data bases, for example the marketing function can also call for rebranding so they must work with procurement to purchase new packaging, signage etc.
