Government interference: The high density orchard is subsidized. But he wants more support from government for expanding his venture. Future Plans: Mr Fayaz and his team are thinking of starting a packing and grading unit in the nursery itself. Setbacks: Mr Fayaz faced a major setback when they first bought planting material (worth Rs 10 lakh)which ended up being faulty and not true to type. At that time planting material worth Rs 5 lakh was damaged. But they didn’t lose heart and kept going on and the result is in front of us. Satisfaction: He is highly satisfied with this venture .Also they have sold crop worth Rs 12-13 lakh just in the starting season..
