This Investor pack presents the opportunity for Anchors in partnership with local investors to establish a local business in the manufacturing and maintenance of wellheads and X-Mas trees to support local oil and gas drilling activities. Wellhead and x-mas tree are critical equipment as part of the last barrier of containment for the life of the well, providing a pressure barrier for the well, forming a conduit for hydrocarbon to flow and mechanism to carry out well interventions. This opportunity aims to localize engineering design, manufacturing, maintenance and servicing capabilities for wellheads and X-Mas trees. As such, Tawteen aspires for the investor to develop the following local assets: – Local facilities for storage of raw materials, and finished good – Specialist equipment for heat treatment, precision machining and cladding – Workshop and basic equipment for assembly and testing To support the investment opportunity, North Oil Company (NOC), the Contracting Entity, will jointly release a classified RfP with this Investor Pack to the Anchors. Tawteen aspires for the Anchor and the local company to establish the following local assets: – Workshop for assembly and final trimming of wellheads and X-Mas trees: Heat treatment and cladding (including HH trim) facilities Precision manufacturing (CNC) machinery – Infrastructure for high pressure testing and quality control activities – Engineering, design and material sourcing capabilities – Workforce development for maintenance of Wellheads and Xmas trees on site. Anchors participating in the opportunity as main bidders are required to establish a commercial alliance (Joint Venture or Consortium or subcontracting) with a local company as part of the general Tawteen aspirations to develop local suppliers. For Local Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) with proven experience in the scope can participate as main bidder alone or establish commercial alliance (in the form of a Joint Venture or Consortium or Subcontracting) with and Anchor. Anchors who are participating as main bidders can also participate with the SME with proven experience in a Joint Venture or Consortium or Subcontractor. The Anchor is required to develop the local company to ultimately perform the scope of work independently. The selection of the local company will be at the discretion of the Anchor, but Tawteen holds the right to review and approve the selection results.
