[Audio] Introduction “The greatest tragedy in a human life is not death, but life without purpose.” Dr Myles Munroe A man in his 60s was lamenting on the phone the other day. Why? Right from his childhood he had dreamt of been in military, serving his nation. At his late 20s he was given the opportunity to become his dream; he was selected through the Short Service Commission along with another youth from his state into the Nigerian Army but his father stopped him from fulfilling his purpose. His lamentation was an echo of several other people who never live to fulfil their destinies. Many were in businesses, professions, vocations and careers, which they are not destined for. Even the seemingly successful people keep asking for the meaning of their lives after decades of pursuing and building their choice careers. I remember a friend of mine sharing his experience about his daughter’s dilemma. When the daughter was in SS1, because of her brilliance, her teachers placed her in Science department against the plan of God for her life. Long before this time, she had dreamt seeing herself in the midst of little kids on a recurrent frequency. Her dilemma came when she got to SS2 and was confused by the apparent conflict between her future and her present department. These stories are a representation of the lives of many of our students/youth but the time has come to change the gear and thus help our children move in the paths appointed unto them by their Maker..

Scene 4 (2m 51s)

[Audio] Letter From The Executor Dear Proprietor/ Proprietress, Greetings of the day! My name is Olayinka Aboluwarin, a human resources expert, an engineer and a child of God. My passion is to teach people how to discover themselves, develop themselves and discharge themselves in purpose-driven services to God and man, and to help organizations develop their human resources through training and capacity building so as to achieve their personal and organizational goals. Sometimes ago, I received a mandate from God to set up an outfit called Human Rejuvenation Resources to specifically train government officials and workers, and workers in corporate organizations. The key purpose of this architecture is to bring out the most potent, powerful and invaluable resource in the whole world – the human capital – to solve personal, corporate and societal problems. Then, in August 2024, I was invited as a guest preacher in a school’s Valedictory Service. But after the message, the Lord asked me a rhetorical question. He said, “How many of these children actually fulfil their destinies? They came and they left every year.” I have taught in Secondary schools across Ogun, Oyo and Lagos States for a brief span of 9 years before I was called into full-time ministry. But He has again brought me back to my habitat, though in another way. After much prayer, consultations, research and deliberations with several people in the field of education, He gave me the answer to His aforementioned question. The answer is called Student Resources Management. I therefore welcome you – the world changer – to this great platform of collaboration and consolidation, for eternal services and rewards. Yours sincerely, Olayinka Biodun Aboluwarin.

[Audio] What is Student Resources Management? Student Resources Management is a scheme that holistically looks into the locked up resources within the spirit, souls and bodies of our students. It is a concept that seeks to involve all the tripartite nature of man in the development and actualization of man, especially our students. This scheme looks beyond impartation of academic information. Thus, Student Resources Management is a marriage of the concepts of Purpose-Driven Education and Guidance & Counselling. The Purpose-Driven Education (PDE) component of Student Resources Management addresses the spirit element of man in order to discover and identify the purpose or destiny of each of our students as much as we can, while the Guidance and Counselling (G&C) component deals with the soul and the body parts of the students by seeking to help them discover their abilities, passions, interests, solving academic-related problems, improving their personal, moral and social skills etc. STUDENT RESOURCES MANAGEMENT Purpose-Driven Education (PDE) Guidance and Counselling (G&C) Graphical Representation of Student Resources Management Click to here to download the Preview Copy of the Student Resources Management Operational Manual.

[Audio] What are the Processes of Student Resources Management? What do we mean by Student Resources Management processes? These are basically the steps involved to actualizing this scheme is a Secondary school. These are the actualization phases and stages. While we recommend that a participating school undergoes these simple but important steps sequentially and timely, the onus, however, is on the school to determine the pace of undergoing each of these stages. The processes are itemized herein as follows, while each of them shall be discussed elaborately in the following pages: Career Session with students & staff members Training of Student Resources Managers [SRMs] Setting Up of Student Resources Unit [SRU] Enlightenment Seminar for students & parents Training of Student Resources Managers [SRMs] Interaction Session with staff members Enlightenment Seminar for students & parents Setting Up of Student Resources Unit [SRU].

Scene 10 (12m 12s)

[Audio] Career Session with students & staff members Step 1 (Optional) The first process (step) to actualize the Student Resources Management scheme is to introduce the scheme to the school community, through career/vocation enlightenment with the students and their teachers..

Scene 11 (12m 30s)

[Audio] Training of Student Resources Managers [SRMs] Step 2 The next process (step) after the interaction session with the staff is to train the appointed 2 staff from a school as Student Resources Managers by our team. This is a most important step. This training session will involve participants [SRMs] from other interested schools. However, the cost of participating in the two days training is explained in page 21. The training for the Student Resources Managers [SRMs] will take a day, from 10:00AM. The phase includes the following features: Registration of participants Issuance of Training Pack (Training Timetable + Operational Manual +SRM Tag + other materials) Training Session Assessment of participants Refreshment Issuance of Training Certificate Click on the links to download these items Sample Copy of the Training Certificate Training Guidelines Training Time-Table.

[Audio] Setting Up of Student Resources Unit [SRU] Step 3 After the training of the Student Resources Managers [SRMs] follows the next phase, which is the setting up of a unit within your school called Student Resources Unit [SRU]. This unit is responsible to carrying out the functions of the Student Resources Management within your school. The unit requires 3-4 members of your staff with the SRM leading the team. Provision of Student Resources Management Tools as indicated in the Training Manual – see section on Facilities for Effective Student Resources Management in Chapter 4 of The Student Resources Manager Operational Manual..

Scene 13 (14m 48s)

[Audio] Enlightenment seminar for students & parents Step 4 The final step/process to kick the scheme running effectively in your school is to conduct an enlightenment seminar for students and their parents/guardians. Why do we need to involve the parents/guardians? The primary reason for the involvement of parents/guardians is simply because they are the primary custodians of their wards. We are just their second-tier parents. So, to avoid misconstrue and misunderstanding of the scheme, they must be duly informed and involved. They have a major stake in the destiny of their wards. This seminar can be single-handedly conducted by your school or together with us (HRR team). The features of the seminar include the following: Opening Welcome Note Introduction of Key Participants/Dignitaries Seminar Paper 1: The Balanced Life Seminar Paper 2: Roles Of Education In Destiny Discovery Explanation On Destiny Discovery Channel Form Questions & Answers Closing.
