On January  21,  2022, Tripura  will be celebrate the 50     y ears of Statehood  day.  Tripura,  the former princely  state was  blended into the Indian Union in October 1949 and became full  state  on January 21,  1971 under the  North Eastern Region (Reorganization) Act, 1971.

Lighting of inaugural Lamp. Presentation of Inaugural Song. Speeches from Dignitaries ( Hon’ble  Governor and  Hon’ble  Chief Ministers were present every year). Distribution of Prestigious awards (introduced  in  2021).

Group Songs Dances from both Tribal and Non-Tribal Communities. Drama Note:  Cultural  Programme  varies from year to year.
