[Audio] The University established an Office of the International Affairs that primarily aims to coordinate academic exchange and cooperation program for faculty and students with their partner universities abroad. International Training and Conferences Abroad SSU faculty and students are privileged to attend training and conferences abroad based on invitations from SSU's partner universities and organizations. Most training and conferences are hosted and organized by AUAP for its members or from its partner universities. In 2024, SSU, represented by Engr. Meddy S. Mangaring, Dean of the College of Engineering, participated in the 2024 Global Industry-Academic Forum hosted by Vision College of Jeonju, South Korea. This four-day event, held from January 23-26, 2024, aimed to enhance cooperation between industries and academia, with a specific focus on fostering international exchange programs centered on innovations in new and renewable energy..

[Audio] In 2019, seven (7) faculty members participated in a training course on water resources and coastal engineering at top universities in Europe, namely: Dr. Felisa Gomba, Dr. Ronald Orale, Dr. Elmer Irene, all Graduate School faculty members, and Engr. Lady Ann Fabillar, Engr. Wella Yangzon, Engr. Hebe Cuenco and Engr. Aprille Ellen Quebada, from the College of Engineering. It is a fully- funded activity by CHED for the offering of Water resources and coastal engineering program in the College of Engineering. The college has also participated in the Leadership Development 5.0 Training which was organized by Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific held in Bangkok, Thailand. Faculty and students from the college of engineering have also participated in international research conferences in Thailand, Malaysia, China, and Vietnam..

Being a member of the Association of Universities in Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) means it offers master's degrees and doctorate degrees to SSU faculty and students. Engr.
