I work on the Assignments phase of Sales planning, which involves assigning sellers to a specific account or territory, based on their skills, performance, and customer needs. By doing so, on one hand I ensure each customer gets best value out of Microsoft; on the other hand, I ensure that the sellers have the opportunity to maximize their incentives and that they can deliver the best value to their customers. My main challenges are to balance between competing demands and expectations of customers, sellers and managers. Secondly, I need to adapt to changing market dynamics requiring frequent adjustments to the assignments.
