J&K is famous for its small-scale and cottage industries such as carpet weaving, silks, shawls, basketry, pottery, copper and silverware, papier-mâché and walnut wood. The decrease in violence in the state has boosted the state's economy, specifically tourism. Jammu and Kashmir is also famous for its scenic beauty, flower gardens, apple farms and more. It attracts tourists for its unique handicrafts and the world-famous Kashmiri Shawls..

[Audio] J&K is fully surrounded with natural places where people live with symbiotic nature. Jammu and Kashmir is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in India, and it pulls visitors in every season. If you like the pristine beauty of snow, then winter is the best time to visit. J&k is known for natural places with exotic silence in all natural places and has great scenery places with all colourful flowers surrounded all the sides even though the main occupation is agriculture with beautiful places and mountains surrounded all over. [Audio] Srinagar Tourism Famously known as ' Heaven on Earth, Srinagar is located in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir, on the banks of river Jhelum. Srinagar is known for the stationary houseboats and gondola-type rowboats- Shikararas on Dal Lake. The tourists use Shikaras to see attractions like the Floating Vegetable Market and the Mir Bahris – a lively community of people who live on the lake itself. There are a lot of houseboats that provide a beautiful and unique stay experience on the lake. Srinagar is home to some of India's most exquisite Mughal-age gardens, with the top attractions being Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashm-E-Shahi Garden. Kashmiri cuisine is famous all over the globe, so when in Srinagar, trying out the local dishes, which are rich in unique fragrant spices, is a must. Heavy snowfall affects the connectivity of Srinagar during the winter months of December to February. [Audio] Conclusion From this places itself we come to know that j&k is rich in heritage and the region has a sub tropical climate and the summer is hot. The temperature starts soaring in the month of March and is at its peak in the month of April. The maximum temperature in summer can go as high as 45 degree Celsius. Kashmir is quite pleasant with the temperature varying from 14 to 30 degree Celsius. This climate makes Jammu and Kashmir a tourist place as climate is neither not too extreme and nor too cold but sometime it may vary.
