[Audio] And on this presentation we have four contents, one being about Franz Kafka, two is some information about the metamorphosis, and number three is the same but with district 9, and lastly, four is me answering the question..

Multimodal Presentation. "How do Kafka's "The Metamorphosis" and the film "District 9" (2009) use speculative narratives to reflect the contextual concerns of their respective composer?" My response will include the use of narrative conventions, imagined depictions of the human body, and the power of storytelling to shape our perceptions of the world..

Franz Kafka. 1883 - 1924. 01.

Franz Kafka. Kafka was a Jewish Czech novelist and short-story writer that lived in Prague, which was a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He was born in 1883, and he passed away in 1924, yet people still remember him as one of the major figures in 20th-century literature. Kafka is famous for being the creator of famous novels such as The Metamorphosis or The Trial. Many of his works are characterized by anxiety, isolation and illness, reason being that his life was no different compared to his novels, it was both marked by the same things. This is mainly influence by his father, Hermann Kafka..

03. District 9 2009.

District 9. The film directed by Neill Blomkamp, had present through a found footage and mockumentary hybridity. It explored a wide variety of topics, including alien/human hybridisation, exploitation & biotechnology, humanity, medication & control, and more..
