1.0 Introduction

“Fit Trip” is a program created to have an impact on the future obesity rate amongst teenagers by both helping the one’s currently suffering from it as well as providing guidance and general fitness knowledge to the rest in order to avoid being obese.  The program itself consists of four main components, however in order to effectively utilize the program’s capabilities, entities such as PE teachers and parents will be involved making in more engaging for the students both in the school and at home supporting and encouraging them in all ways possible.

Engaging and Informative lesson plans  Strategically planned, these lessons will be aimed to provide students with the theoretical knowledge about fitness and health in general, and it will also explain and elaborate concepts such as calories, macro-nutrients, calorie surplus/deficit and metabolism etc.  Effective HIIT/Zumba training sessions  The training sessions will be optimized and tailored towards the students with the goal of losing fat in a fast and steady way. The training sessions will be optimized and tailored towards the students with the goal of losing fat in a fast and steady way without any additional supplements such as fat burners etc. Healthy meals  This initiative will be planned in cooperation with the school, where we aim to offer delicious healthy meals at the school canteen for students at an affordable price. With detailed nutrition facts about the meals offered, students can learn how macro calories affect the total calories in a meal and which kinds of food are better to pick compared to some other products.  Reward system  Who does not like to get rewards? With this reward-based system, we plan on giving rewards such as badges, healthy meal vouchers which the students can avail at the school canteen and certificates of achievement.
