O you who believe, when you rise for Salāh, (prayer) wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, and make MasH (wiping by hands) of your heads and (wash) your feet up to the ankles. If you are in a state of major impurity, cleanse yourselves well (by taking bath). If you are sick, or on a journey, or if one of you has come after relieving himself, or you have had sexual contact with women, and you find no water, then, go for some clean dust and wipe your faces and hands with it. Since hajj involves lots of walking, therefore doing hajj will absolutely help the one who is doing hajj improves their health because by walking only you can gain tons of health benefits. Reduce the risk on developing any kind of diseases such as cancer, heart disease etc. Furthermore, doing hajj also improves our fitness level signicantly. It is beneficial to all king of ages, gender such as people who are overweight or elderly. Improved management of conditions such as hypertension, high cholesterol, joint and muscular pain or stiffness and diabetes.

Hajj conveys the stronger sense of community, harmony, unity and brotherhood spirit which is necessary to adopt in every community. The health sociologists claimed that the society stronger sense of community and social cohesion live longer and healthier than those with lesser sense of community and social cohesion.

Gaining positive vibes during hajj with all types of different people will improve our mentality condition. Moreover, while doing Sa’i that symbolizes Hajah optimism and trust in Allah taught us as muslim to be more optimistic andbrave to face the challenges that we will face during hajj such as heat strokes and not able to rely on our family anymore (learn to try depending on Allah) When our mindset are ensured to Allah about everything, we will feel more safe and confident to face all the hardships or tests that were or will be given by Allah. Having positive mindset prevents us from doing unhealthy activities such as doing drugs or smoking  or even suicide.

It could enhance the character and manner of an individual which helps lead to the betterment of the society. It is important to treat our heart, correct it and purify it from sickness and all sins by practicing the basic religious obligations of Islam. Thus, the practices based on the five pillars of Islam is very important because not only it have positive effects on physical but also spiritual health.
