[Audio] Safety is Our Number One Priority! We will discuss different aspects of safety during this presentation..
[Audio] Why Is Safety Important When Using Inflatables, Carnival Games, and other party rental equipment? It Helps prevent accidents, such as falls, collisions, and other incidents that can cause injury. It Helps promote a positive experience for everyone involved, ensuring that the event is enjoyable and memorable. It Can help prevent costly repairs or replacements due to equipment damage It promotes compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to safety in the rental industry It Ensures that the customer is aware of the risks associated with inflatables and party rental equipment and how to use them safely Being proactive about safety precautions does not always stop an accident from occurring, but it definitely reduces the risk of injury significantly..
[Audio] Next up We will be discussing General Safety Guidelines..
[Audio] First let's discuss your help! You will have volunteers and staff that will assist you with supervising the equipment. It's important to choose competent and responsible adults to supervise the equipment as an operator. Operators are responsible for enforcing safety rules and guidelines. They are also responsible for removing any participants that are not following the rules. Standard bounce houses require one operator. Slides taller than fifteen feet require two operators. Obstacle courses and extreme inflatables require more operators based on manufacturers and state guidelines. Be sure to ask if you are unsure. We can provide fully trained and experienced operators for an additional fee..
[Audio] Now, we can discuss Age recommendations and weight limits. Let's look at age/size. As you know older and bigger kids play rougher and don't necessarily pay attention to the smaller kids. Make sure similar aged kids with similar weights play together to reduce change on injury. Each of the inflatables have weight limits. The average for a standard bounce house is up to 800lbs with a limit of 150lbs per participant. Make sure you refer to the specific guidelines for your specific inflatable. Usually, the number of participants decreases as they get older and bigger. DO NOT overcrowd inflatables. The risk of deflation and injury increases drastically..
[Audio] These pictures are examples of what an overcrowded bounce house and improperly supervised inflatable game looks like. As you can see the bounce house appears to be deflating but is not. The blower to this inflatable is still plugged up. The problem is that too many kids are in the bounce house. An overcrowded bounce house will cause undue stress on generators as well and can potentially cause the generators to shut down. This was witnessed by our staff upon pickup. It was immediately shut down for safety and issues were addressed with staff. In the picture of the inflatable game an adult can be seen but is clearly not supervising properly. Both scenarios high risk for injury or damage. Make sure your operators including staff and volunteers follow the rules to maintain a safe fun environment for your guests..
[Audio] Safety rules and guidelines were created to help minimize and reduce risk and possible injury. Participants must remove shoes but have on socks. No sharp objects for the obvious reasons. We don't want anyone getting cut nor do we want our equipment to be damaged. Also, if the equipment is cut and causes the unit to deflate, it could result in serious injury. Food, drink, candy, and gum are prohibited because they pose a choking hazard..
[Audio] This is a full list of rules and guidelines. You will receive a copy of this document in this paperwork. It is required that you submit a signed document acknowledging the rules of operation. If you have any questions, we are always happy to assist..
[Audio] Weather Conditions and Wind limits presents circumstances we can not control. If it were up to us we'd have Sunny day with mild temperatures, not too hot and not too cold everyday! We reserve the right to cancel a reservation or reschedule it for another day, due to heavy rains, thunderstorms, high winds (over 20 mph), or other inclement weather. We discuss rain dates and or plans because our weather in the Mid South area can be unpredictable at times. Equipment will not be set up in heavy rain, high winds in excess of 20 mph, or any other inclement weather. Also, if the weather changes during your event and you are faced with inclement weather, we expect you to get all attendants to safe place and if the circumstance permit, we ask that you deflate the equipment. Don't worry our Staff will discuss the instructions with you..

[Audio] On the day of your event, you can expect our professionally trained staff to setup your equipment based on the agreed upon layout for your event. We setup quality, clean equipment in excellent working conditions. We take a picture at every setup. You are expected to complete an inspection upon the safety walk around and immediately report any concerns prior to staff leaving. It will be important that there be one point of contact on the day of your event to reduce confusion about setup and layout of your event. You should have received a layout with this documentation packet..
[Audio] Emergencies and unexpected occurrences may arise at any given time. Sometimes, emergencies are self-inflicted and other times one does not have control of the situation or circumstance. PREVENTION by having a knowledgeable Renter/Operator who is competent and willing to enforce rules, follow guidelines, supervise participants interactions, maintain crowd control, and respond to emergency situations is key to prevent most incidents. When you have a party at your house, school, park, business, or any type of facility, you are in charge! Inflatable units and games are fun and easy to watch, but occasionally you might have an issue. If something goes wrong, try these suggestions to get back on track and to keep everyone safe. In all instance it is best if the Renter/Operator remains calm, many times those in any given situations feed off the energy of the person in charge. DON'T PANIC!.
