Each and every organism can live only for a certain period of time.  The period from birth to the natural death of an organism is called as its  Life span.

Scene 3

Reproduction:-  It is a biological process in which organisms gives rise to young ones similar to itself. The offspring grow, mature and produces new offspring.  Thus, there is a cycle of birth, growth and death. Reproduction enables the continuity of the species, generation after generation.

Reproduction is off two types:  based on participation of parents Asexual Reproduction  Sexual Reproduction

Asexual Reproduction:  When the offspring is produced by a single parent wiith or without the involvement of gamete formation.  Sexual Reproduction:  It is the process of Reproduction in which both parents takes part and new offsprings are produced by fusion of male and female gametes.
