Uniformed Group Links: Age 9 - 12 years old (Primary School) Cadets: Age 12 - 16 years old (Secondary School)

Chapters Age 16 - 19 years old (Institutions of Higher Learning)

Youth Members Age 1 0  - 25 years old (Youth in General) Automatic membership if you are a Red Cross member

Scene 3

Red Cross Junior (RCJ) offers a two-year activity-based curriculum, Project C.A.R.E; and a service-learning component where Juniors can partake in various volunteering activities and learning journeys.

Volunteers will have the opportunities to work with preschools and conduct outreach activities.

Known as Links in Primary School, Cadets in Secondary School During CCA sessions in schools, UG learn about different Red Cross subjects, like First Aid, Disaster Management, Youth Ambassador's Blood Programme Uniformed Group provides a stepping stone for Volunteer Instructors to continue serving as part of the largest Humanitarian network.

Volunteer Instructors will be trained to equip with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitude to mentor and teach Cadets, work efficiently with fellow Volunteer Instructors in HQ events and assist their Teachers in running the units.

Primary and Secondary Schools -   Age 16 to 19 years old

Institutions of Higher Learning - Age 17 to 19 years old

At the RCY Chapter, the students conduct activities that advocate about volunteer non-remunerated blood donation, first aid and disaster risk reduction and organise other community projects at the institutional level.

S et up a RCY Chapter in your ITE, Polytechnic, Junior College, University  or  any  tertiary   institutions,   or to join an existing RCY Chapter!

Scene 6

Beyond the campus, youth leaders are given the opportunities to conduct community roadshows and house visits such as First Aid Fiesta, Resilience Mapping, Ready Bags & Home Safety, Haze & Dengue Awareness

Volunteers will be trained to teach simple first aid to targeted beneficiary or to help at  house visits  and roadshows.

Scene 7

Project R.I.C.E.+  is an annual, nation-wide collection & distribution drive championed by youth leaders from the Singapore Red Cross, to bring food and daily essentials to vulnerable families.  Email: projectriceplus@redcross.sg

Volunteers may assist in packing and contactless essential aid distribution of bundle sets via personal vehicles, SRC vehicles or chartered transporters.

Launched in 2008 by Red Cross Youth Chapters, Project R.I.C.E. has made a name for itself as an annual nation-wide community project initiative to help disadvantaged families in Singapore. Every year, Red Cross Youth Chapters and volunteers distribute food items including rice, donated by the Singapore public to beneficiaries. These food items are sponsored by the Singapore public by way of monetary donation via a supermarket partner.

Youth Hub@C ampsite  &  Roadshow Activations

The Youth Hub@Campsite, managed by the Red Cross Youth department houses the Humanitarian Trail learning journey, which includes activity-based stations such as  Safe Steps First Aid  and  VR Safety Training , just to name a few.
