[Audio] The Committee said NO! The coalition majority refused to allow the investigation to proceed R-C-T Cllr Lex Middelberg did not drop the matter.

[Audio] RCT’s Lex Middelberg started to investigate R-C-T began it’s own investigation P-A-I-A requests were submitted to verify the CFO’s employment history.

[Audio] Then came a response National Treasury provided an affidavit stating that the C-F-O-: Was Not Employed By National Treasury As Claimed.

[Audio] R-C-T took formal action In early 2026, R-C-T lodged a formal complaint of serious misconduct with the Municipal Manager R-C-T was the O-N-L-Y party to vote in favour of a disciplinary investigation.

[Audio] Then came the Madlanga Commission Two weeks later the Madlanga Commission revealed allegations of serious financial miconduct implicating the C-F-O R-C-T submitted further allegations concerning: Manegerial misconduct and Possible CV irregularities.
