This highlights the importance of preventing crime. We are proud to share our recent accomplishment - a successful anti-drug operation on August 19, 2025 in Brgy. Rosario, Gumaca, Quezon. Our team conducted a buy-bust operation resulting in the arrest of two suspects and the confiscation of approximately 20 grams of suspected shabu. This prevented its distribution and sale in our town, making it a significant step forward in our fight against drugs. According to slide number 6, our region has a number of public and private cemeteries and columbarium, with an estimated 1.4 million visitors. To prepare for this, 95 LGUs and 1 Provincial Government have released Executive Orders and Municipal Ordinances for the closure of cemeteries and columbarium from October 29 to November 2, 2021. Some LGUs are still in the process of creating their own guidelines for this occasion. I would like to shift our focus to the accomplishments of the Gumaca Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of PMAJ ARJON M OXINA. On August 29 and September 3, 2025, they successfully apprehended two suspects involved in a scam known as the "Budol-Budol." This serves as a reminder to remain vigilant and cautious, particularly during this time when scammers take advantage of the crowded cemeteries during the holidays. Today, we will discuss our Deployment Plan for UNDAS 2022, a significant event in our country where millions of people travel to honor their loved ones. This increases the risk of accidents, incidents, and emergencies, making it our duty as law enforcers to ensure the safety and security of the public. To strengthen our efforts, we will be installing 911 Emergency Hotline tarpaulins in Gumaca town and outside our police station starting August 2, 2025. This will improve our emergency response time and potentially save more lives during UNDAS. Our goal is to make this year's UNDAS a safe and peaceful event, and we encourage everyone to spread awareness about the 911 Emergency Hotline and trust in our capabilities to provide immediate assistance.
