[Audio] Thangka painting is an ancient form of Tibetan art that has been practiced for centuries. Its intricate works of art depict various deities mandalas and spiritual symbols illustrating complex Buddhist teachings. To create these works of art specialized artisans are highly trained in techniques symbolism and iconography. Techniques such as brushwork precise outlining and the application of vibrant mineral pigments are used. Each color used in a Thangka painting has a special meaning associated with different aspects of Buddhist philosophy and cosmology..

[Audio] We are talking about thangka painting a fascinating form of Tibetan Buddhist art. Thangkas depict a wide range of subjects from Buddhas and bodhisattvas to stories and teachings from Buddhist scriptures. These paintings are created according to traditional iconographic principles and carry multiple layers of symbolic meaning. In addition thangka paintings are also considered profound spiritual practices deeply meaningful for the Tibetan Buddhist culture. [Audio] We present our art integrated activity an initiative by our English teacher Ms Amanda Johnson. In this activity our group had to employ English language in an artistic manner. We had to think outside the ordinary and create something original. This activity taught us the significance of working together and helped us recognize how to use constructive feedback to learn and improve. Our comprehension of the English language has grown as well as our individual growth. We are very appreciative of this opportunity..
