Some common types of cybercrime include hacking, which involves unauthorized access to a computer system or network, phishing, which involves tricking individuals into revealing sensitive information through fake emails or websites, and ransomware attacks, which involve encrypting a victim's files and demanding payment for their release. I can say cybercrime is the biggest threat since it has effect on, humans, governments, individuals and organisations in various dimensions like financially, physically, psychologically and emotional.

According to the Cybersecurity Ventures 2021 report, cybercrime is expected to cost the world $10.5 trillion annually by 2025. In addition to financial losses, cybercrime can also result in reputational damage, loss of intellectual property, and physical harm, emotional and even psychological harm.

According to the Cybersecurity Ventures report, the cost of damages and lost productivity from cybercrime is expected to reach $6 trillion in 2021.
