Hello, I am Carter Woodson and I am the Father of Black History Month. I noticed that many people from black communities didn't know much about their heritage and so i wanted to educate them and it has now grown so large that people across the world from all walks of life are being educated on the achievements of African Americans throughout human history and they are starting to get the recognition they deserve..
