Energy Demand growth projected at a CAGR of 3.2% up to 2040. Energy demand will increase from 20.7 million barrels per day to 39.1 million barrels per day  by 2040. Natural gas in energy mix will increase from 6.2% to 15% by 2030 with CAGR of 7.2%. Fuels sales will increase by  CAGR of 3.7% during this decade. India will be 3rd largest primary energy consumer in the world by 2030. India will be 2 nd  largest crude oil refiner in Asia and 4 th  in the world by 2030.
