NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION (NVC)

Hello everyone! Welcome to our Multimedia Presentation for Communication 101, Summer Quarter 2023. Our group members include Dominique Johnson and Me. My name is Mara Faitala. Our topic will be Nonverbal Communications. NVC is defined in chapter 4 of our e-textbook as a process of creating meaning using behavior, like body language. Some element examples of this includes gestures, facial expressions, and eye contact. We have chosen a skit with 2 scenarios. In the first scene, Dominique will demonstrate how using NVC will either help to promote or demote our chances of getting the job. Doing these NVC’s in an interview plays a big part in whether the recruiter might hire. What to take into consideration is doing them while we are unaware of how they can affect us..
