[Audio] Our interviewee, a design student, was inspired to pursue a career in design due to their parents' influence in the design field. They were passionate about design from an early age and expected pursuing a design course to be fun and glamorous. However, they soon realized that it required a lot of attention, concentration, and hard work. The interviewee faced several challenges while pursuing their career in design, including managing expenses, dealing with feedback and criticism, and handling transportation issues due to the college's location. Despite these challenges, they advised others to be prepared for the challenges of design education, to take care of themselves, and to be passionate about design. In our opinion, design education is worth it if one is willing to put in the effort. It requires a lot of hard work, attention, and concentration, but it can be incredibly rewarding. We believe that pursuing a career in design can lead to a fulfilling and exciting life, and we encourage others to consider it as an option..

We have covered the challenges of design education and the importance of self-care in our previous slide. Our interviewee highlighted the importance of being prepared for the challenges of design education by giving full consideration to all aspects of communication, including verbal and nonverbal cues. By doing so, we can gain a deeper understanding and context that would have been missed otherwise. Our interviewee also emphasized the importance of being passionate about design. First and foremost, active listening is essential in conducting effective interviews. We also emphasized the importance of empathy in effective interviewing. This involves putting ourselves in the interviewee's shoes and understanding their feelings and emotions, which allows us to ask more insightful questions and build a connection with the interviewee. Furthermore, nonverbal communication played a significant role in our interview analysis, as we found that the interviewee's body language, tone of voice, and facial expressions conveyed important information that we needed to understand their thoughts and feelings. Lastly, we highlighted the need for continuous self-reflection and improvement in our communication skills and listening skills. We realized that we need to constantly evaluate our own communication style and seek feedback from others in order to improve..

Our experience at the design institute has surpassed our initial expectations in many ways. We have learned more than we ever thought possible and have grown as a designer in ways we never imagined. We handle feedback and criticism from peers and instructors with an open mind and a willingness to learn. We use this feedback to improve our design approach and to develop new skills and knowledge. A student who is not that creative but still wants to join a designing institute should be open-minded and willing to learn. There are many skills and knowledge that can be acquired through hard work and dedication, and these can help you grow as a designer. A student who wants to succeed at design institute should bring a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an open mind.
