Introduction. Welcome to Crenshaw Correctional Facility. This federal correctional facility is a medium to low security federal facility. This facility houses 600 beds for male inmates. General Population. The inmates in our facility are housed with bunk mates, 2 inmates per room there are over 300 rooms in the facility. The low security inmate and medium security inmates are paired with other inmates in their cell..
Elderly Inmates. make up a small population of this facility which is only about 5% - 10% elderly inmates are only house with other elderly inmates. They have a separate schedule and diet as well, for every five elderly inmates there is ONE male nurse that is always accompanied by two officers while taking care of the elderly and distributing medication.
Mental Health. The more severe mental health inmates are sent to River Valley Security Psychiatric hospital. Even though we house lower to medium security inmates.
