
[Virtual Presenter] Thank you for taking some time to review and understand Centra’s expectations for creating, aligning, communicating, and executing on the exciting goals each of you no doubt have to support Centra’s mission, vision, values, and most importantly the key performance outcomes we are intending to realize for the communities we serve..

[Audio] The goals that each of you will create for 2024 should be in alignment with and directly supportive of our strategic themes and organizational priorities that are represented on this document. [Audio] As you begin to prepare and ultimately finalize your goals, the questions listed on this slide should be carefully reviewed and accurately answered. Please take a few minutes to pause this recording and assess your answers to these critical questions..
[Audio] As an organization, Centra is expecting that the criteria listed on this slide for good goals are being met consistently throughout the organization..
[Audio] The dates you see outlined on this slide are the dates our goal-setting process will be open in oracle. Both Human Resources and Marketing/Communications leaders will be regularly reminding and reinforcing our leaders regarding the importance of these dates..
[Audio] As you create and finalize your goals with your managing executives, your goals should represent SMART goals – they should be specific, measurable, achievable and action oriented, relevant and aligned to our strategic themes, and time-based with specific deadlines for successful completion..
[Audio] Here are two examples of goals – the goal in green on the left side of the slide is a SMART goal with well defined measures. The goal in red on the right is not a SMART goal..
[Audio] Beginning on January 15, 2024 the Learning & Organizational Development Team will be providing you with some simple education regarding the process for submitting your goals in oracle for approval. Please bear in mind that the accuracy of your goals will ultimately impact any incentive compensation provisions that you may be eligible for..

[Audio] When goals are finalized at the CEO Work Group Level, a "challenge" session will occur to ensure that submitted goals are SMART Goals, and that they are: Financially sound Balanced Focused on out Strategic Themes and Operational Priorities Director and Executive goals should be SMART goals and in alignment with CEO Work Group goals CEO Work Group review of subordinate goals, filtered by division, strategic theme, and organizational priorities will occur Regular "accountability, integration, and coordination" meetings will occur with the CEO Work Group and the Executive Team with a focus on progress and anticipated impact on organizational results (KPI's).
