Part 2 - The World

[Audio] Welcome to Jainism in easy way video series !.

[Audio] In previous video, we have seen that God told us that world is like a disease that we have and is a cause behind all our troubles. So in this video let us explore about world..

[Audio] World is of two types – first, the outer world and second is inner world..

[Audio] Outer world is the universe. Outer World.

[Audio] Or the world that we see, the world where we live..

[Audio] So what happen to us in this world? We born, we grow and then we die. Everyone who has born will die one day. And everyone who die will born. So this is a cycle ! A cycle of life and death..

[Audio] This cycle of life and death is called as outer world..

[Audio] And what is the inner world? It is the various emotions or the various thoughts that we have in our mind. These thoughts, emotions, the world that we have inside us is called as inner world..

[Audio] So Outer world is the cycle of life and death. And inner world is the emotions that we have inside us. Now Lets discuss more about outer world..

[Audio] To understand more on outer world, lets understand Biodiversity. Biodiversity means the different forms in which the life exists in this physical world..

[Audio] On a high level, Jainism classify four forms of life. Lets understand them..

[Audio] The first form is a divine form. So let say if you die and go to the heaven. Now humans do not lives in heaven, these are the dieties or angels who lives in heaven. So you will be reborn as a diety or angel. We ourself will become a diety..

[Audio] Second form of life is the human form. Like what we are currently..

[Audio] Third form of life are the lower forms. These can be animals, birds, fishes, insects, plants and micro-organisms. All these collectively are called as lower forms of life..

[Audio] The fourth form is the hellish form. The people who lives in hell are know as hellish people..

[Audio] So on a high level there are four forms of life – the divine form, the huma form, the lower form and the hellish form. Now we can die and re-born in any of these forms. This is where Jainism is different than other religion. In Jainism, you can reborn in any of the form on which the life exist in this world, its not necessary be a human. You may go to heaven and born like a dity or you may again reborn as a human or you may re-born as an animal or bird or fish or insect or even as a plant or micro-organism. In Jain scriptures you will also find the stories where a person die and reborn in a same body but this time as a micro-organism. In this body, its not just us who are living but there are also several micro-organism living in our body. Or you may die and reborn as a hellish person. So we can re-born in any of these forms. Now lets discuss about these forms in more details. Lets first discuss about Lower forms because in the world, most of the living organism lives in the lower forms. Lets discuss more in a next video.
