Introduction: MotaData V10 Titan DMS now has direct integration with Ford's One Warranty Solution (OWS) system. This enhancement streamlines your warranty processes, allowing for more efficient claim submission and management by your teams. This Video will outline the key features and potential changes in processes that you will need to consider. A full user guide will be available..

Scene 3 (42s)

Key Benefits: Seamless Integration Submit warranty claims directly from your DMS to the OWS system without the hassle of multiple platforms. Pre-validation of Claims Ensure that your claims are validated before submission, reducing errors and saving time. Real-time Status Updates Submission statuses are returned directly to your DMS, keeping you informed at every step. Reconciliation Made Easy Receive a reconciliation file for all paid claims directly into the DMS, simplifying your accounting process. Removal of Redundancy The single-entry point of data capturing. Accurate Data Limiting capture of errors..

Scene 5 (2m 24s)

Changes to functionality: OWS: There have been slight changes to the usage of OWS All information is captured on the DMS and no longer on OWS directly. The changes that can be observed on OWS are how the information is received from the DMS. Take note of the following: The DMS will receive the BSI B number but send the DMS RO number to OWS. Instead of seeing the B number in OWS, you will now see the DMS RO number. Oil reimbursement, OWS will only reimburse the oil usage through the oil pseudo part number PU7Z!15W40!A and not the in-stock oil part number beginning with ZXL5W40DFD. This is why there will be a difference in the BSI parts booked as compared to the OWS reimbursement part number. Please note that the format for the PU7Z!15W40!A requires exclamations. The system can still be used to view claims and their statuses..

Parts Order and Parts Handling. All warranty parts qualify for a 10% discount fee, however, parts with a value of R10060,00 will not qualify for a 10% discount but will be allowed only R1006,00. These parts are required to be set to cost on the Parts Order screen. The consultant supplying these parts needs to ensure that the Margin % is set to 0%. This will ensure that the parts 10% markup will be removed, allowing the service consultant to add in the handling fee of R 1006,00 on their side on the Repair Order Control screen..
