One day, Gov. Pudles was relaxing a with a tasty adult beverage after a hard day of work. He quickly fell asleep thinking about his life..

He went all the way back to the beginning. Then he thought about what kind of hero he would want to be..

First, Pudles thought he could be a police officer. But then he realized that he wasn’t able to run and chase down the criminals..

He next thought he might be able to do well as a fire fighter..

But he didn’t like the possibility of getting burned..

Remembering that Optimist International is international, thought he might want to head north to Canada. …but he was afraid he would look silly in his Mountie hat..

Perhaps he would become a nurse… But alas, he did not like the sight of blood..

Although he had FABULOUS hair, he couldn’t’ be a doctor…too much school..

Finally he realized that being a hero for him, could mean being a fantastic governor, helping people everywhere, all the time. Yes, he was Shari’s very own Superman… And we are thankful he is our Governor. THANKS PUDLES- --You are a hero!.
