[Audio] RECO is the regulator of more than 110,000 real estate agents and brokerages across Ontario. We administer and enforce the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, also known as TRESA, which sets the legal framework for how real estate professionals must operate. As a regulator, RECO has the authority to register professionals, investigate complaints, conduct inspections, and take enforcement action where standards are not met. Our core purpose is to protect consumers and ensure confidence in real estate transactions, one of the most significant financial decisions people make..
