[Audio] OFFICIAL CLUB VISIT OF DISTRICT GOVERNOR ON MARCH 21 2025 On 21st March 2025, District Governor Rtn. Yagansish Mohapatra of Rotary District 3262, along with District Secretary Rtn. Susant Mohapatra and Asistant Governor Rtn. Bibhudutta Mishra, visited the Rotary Club of Puri Sagar at Hotel Holiday Resort, C.T. Road, Puri. All club members were present for the official meeting, where club activities and achievements were shared. [Audio] UTKALIYA SWABHIMAN ON APRIL 13 2025 On 13th April 2025, Samparka Sahitya, in collaboration with Rotary Club of Puri Sagar, organized a cultural and literary event titled “Utkaliya Swabhiman” at the District Education and Training Centre Auditorium, Puri. The program celebrated Odia language, literature, and Jagannath culture. Distinguished guests including Dr. Kailash Tikayat Ray, Rotarian Gangadhar Mishra, Dr. Sumitra Mishra, and Promoda Devi delivered insightful speeches. The event was presided over by Rotarian Shyama kanha Pattnayak. Eleven noted literary personalities were felicitated with the “Utkaliya Swabhiman Award” and Uttariya for their contributions to literature. They paid tribute to the victims and demanded strong action from the central government to eliminate terrorism and ensure public safety. The programme involved distributing cold drinking water and buttermilk, Sweet Curd & ORS Packet at North gate outside, Inside parikrama Prakalpa of Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri to the general public & Devoties to provide relief from the intense heat. This humanitarian effort aimed to support people suffering from heat-related distress, especially those outdoors during peak temperatures. [Audio] ROTARY CLUB OF PURI SAGAR LAUNCHES EK KADAM KANYA KE LIYIEA The Rotary Club of Puri Sagar, has launched an awareness and sensitisation campaign titled "Ek Kadam kanya Ke Liyiea" under the theme "Kanyaa Anmol Hai" (Save, Respect, Protect, Education, Self Defence, Self Employment, Self Prestige of the Girl Child). The campaign will run from 25th May to 8th June 2025, covering the route from Puri to Bhubaneswar. The purpose of the campaign is to promote awareness about the importance of girl child safety, dignity, and empowerment. It is supported by Rotary District 3262 and led by District Governor Rtn. Yagnasish Mohapatra and Assistant Governor PP Rtn. Saroj Kumar Dash, who is also the Chair for Empowering the Girl Child.
