The program celebrated Odia language, literature, and Jagannath culture. Distinguished guests including Dr. Kailash Tikayat Ray, Rotarian Gangadhar Mishra, Dr. Sumitra Mishra, and Promoda Devi delivered insightful speeches. The programme involved distributing cold drinking water and buttermilk, Sweet Curd & ORS Packet at North gate outside, Inside parikrama Prakalpa of Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri to the general public & Devoties to provide relief from the intense heat. [Audio] ROTARY CLUB OF PURI SAGAR LAUNCHES EK KADAM KANYA KE LIYIEA The Rotary Club of Puri Sagar, has launched an awareness and sensitisation campaign titled "Ek Kadam kanya Ke Liyiea" under the theme "Kanyaa Anmol Hai" (Save, Respect, Protect, Education, Self Defence, Self Employment, Self Prestige of the Girl Child). The campaign will run from 25th May to 8th June 2025, covering the route from Puri to Bhubaneswar. The purpose of the campaign is to promote awareness about the importance of girl child safety, dignity, and empowerment. It is supported by Rotary District 3262 and led by District Governor Rtn. Yagnasish Mohapatra and Assistant Governor PP Rtn. Saroj Kumar Dash, who is also the Chair for Empowering the Girl Child.
