The framework provides the needed structure for developing Java applications and most of the data processing is done on the server side. Moreover, the website utilizes the REST API service to retrieve data. This system is created to ensure users are kept informed of world events in an efficient and organized way with the most recent news..

[Audio] We conducted a literature survey to gain key information from the reference papers. Paper 1 helped us understand certain elements of our web page, while paper 2 offered alternative perspectives on the same topics. We gathered all necessary information from both papers to understand the technicalities of the web page and determine the most useful and accurate news content to be included. As you can see, the project consists of four main blocks: the content management system, the web application server, the database server, and the web client. Each of these blocks contains several components which together will form the complete web page. The content management system will be used to manage the website content, the web application server will provide the web services, and the database server will store and manage the information. Finally, the web client will allow the users to access the website content. For this project, we are using the Java Spring Boot framework. This framework allows us to quickly build and deploy the web application. It will make it easier for us to develop the website and ensure that it meets all the requirements. This allows people to access the site directly for quickly viewing articles. We pride ourselves on our simple and understandable interface so that visitors can easily navigate the page. Additionally, there are no extra costs for our visitors, in contrast to other popular news websites that require monthly fees. Furthermore, we offer the option to navigate to the article's original source, allowing visitors to easily read additional information. Upon accessing the web page via URL, the browser sends a GET/ request to the embedded tomcat server. Request handling is taken care of by a controller, and data is extracted from the API via the model before being passed to the view page.
