[Audio] According to Wikepedia “A bookmobile, or mobile library, is a vehicle designed for use as a library. They have been known by many names throughout history, including traveling library, library wagon, book wagon, book truck, library-on-wheels, and book auto service”. When children read storybooks that contain feelings it can help them understand and accept their own feelings. It helps them understand that other children feel the same way and they are not alone. This helps the child understand that feelings are normal and should be expressed. Watching their responses to the feelings of the characters in the storybooks will 7 give them some idea of how a child feels about certain situations and emotions. For example, how the child responds to the character in the story feeling sad or scared will give them some idea of how the child thinks (Corneal, 2021) 1ST TITLE Introduction.

[Audio] 2ND TITLE Project BASAHON School Based Reading Program of Poblacion Elementary School S.Y. 2023-2024 Prepared by: Leandra H. Abaricia.
[Audio] Children who can read well are more likely to have higher confidence levels. This will benefit them in school as they’ll feel able to participate fully in activities. Another part of building confidence and self-esteem is knowing where you fit into the world. Storybooks can help with this process by showing children what people’s lives are like where they live (Balcazar, 2021). Reading is the most important skill that every learner should master in the context of English as a foreign language. It is critical to be able to communicate and explain what is read from an English text according to Pratolo (2019) 2ND TITLE Introduction.
[Audio] Schools Division of Muntinlupa released Memorandum No. 243, s, 2022. School Division Library Hub Book Mobile -Year 5. The School Division Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS) announces the main objective of this LRMS program is to give support to the reading programs of all elementary schools, particularly those that are designed to develop love for reading. of key stage 1 learners during their reading class..
[Audio] In connection to that memorandum the proponent of Project BASAHON Program Mr. Roberto G. Ramada Jr., chairman of LRMS and former Learning Resource Management Section Coordinator of Poblacion Elementary School come up this project during March 2020. “Project Basahon" The Bisaya/Cebuano word "BASAHON" literally derives from the two syllables "BASA" and from the final syllable of the word "KAHON," and it means "reading material" (noun) or "to read" (verb). This study aims are to ignite and instill the love of reading in children and the last one is to motivate the learners to value and read books..
[Audio] Poblcaion Elementary School Learning Resources Management Section (LRMS) team will conduct meeting about the implementation of the Project Basahon and after that the focal person per grade level will disseminate the said program. Every grade level will be given a blue box consisting of story books. Kinder and Grade One will receive the Tagalog Story since they don’t have English subject yet and the English story books belong to the Grade Two-Six students. The teacher in charge in every classroom will use the books from Project BASAHON blue box during their reading time and she/ he can also use this story book serve as an assignment to his/her student to develop reading habit, to lessen using of gadget at home and lastly is to give bonding time with their parents or guardian through reading..
[Audio] Fiction based on real life can also help children with their own life experiences. It shows them how diverse the world is, and that some people’s lives are vastly different to theirs. And what’s so great about learning through storybooks is that the process is done naturally. There's no actual teaching involved at all; they learn from simply reading the story (Corneal, 2021). Purpose of The Study.
[Audio] The Project BASAHON started March 2020 this study aims are to ignite and instill the love of reading in children, motivate the learners to value and read books and the last one is to develop their study reading habit especially at home. During the pandemic period the books from Project BASAHON books distributed together with the modules of the learners. Parents or guardians need to log their name and other information in Project BASAHON logbook. They need to assist their child in reading books and make some documentation and feedback about that book to submitted though their respective group chat. The focal person per level will collect all the documents and it will be submitted via google drive..
[Audio] Since now we are in normal classroom set up, Poblacion Elementary Learning Resources Management Section Coordinator and Teacher Librarian will give the books from Project BASAHON Program to each classroom adviser. They will do the same process, reading story books during reading time. It will also be served as their reading assignment. The teacher will let the parents do reading bonding with their children, make some documentation and answer the follow up questions about the story and this will be submitted to their adviser. The adviser will be in charge of sending it via google drive for soft copy and the focal person per grade level will print the soft copy of those files to be compile it and submitted to Poblacion Elementary Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS)..
[Audio] The researcher uses descriptive survey method. The participants of this program is Kinder to Grade 6 learners of Poblacion Elementary School and their parents. The researcher uses survey questionnaire to conduct her study. Methodology.

[Audio] Utilization of Situated Learning Approach Strategies in Enhancing Numeracy Skills of Grade 2 Learners at Poblacion Elementary School S.Y. 2023-2024 PREPARED BY LEANDRA H. ABARICIA Page 13.
[Audio] Numeracy skills is an ability on how to do mathematical problems such as counting solving interpreting, using of four fundamental operation which they can use in their daily lifelong learning. Situational learning occurs using an incident from real life that represents the culture of the needs of the students and the community, where the creating a community with the help of the instructor and the kids as individuals, as well as the location where the experience or activity that exemplifies the circumstance be put into practice using all the necessary resources. 3RD TITLE Introduction.
[Audio] The Department of Education NCR- conducted the Ampilified Numeracy Assessment (ANA) from grade 1 to 10 learners. This is to diagnose and assess the numeracy skills of learners as well as generate a base line data of their skill levels that will serve as an input for panning and making decision on instructional adjustments. The Schools Division Office Math Education Program Supervisor shall coordinate with the school personnel involved in this activity and then the school Math coordinator will disseminate the said memorandum to the school and teachers..
[Audio] This is the process how does Situated Learning The teacher will get the result of numeracy test it will be the basis for his/her intervention. Mathematics teacher will prepare some strips of paper where the situational problem is written in tagalog since we use Mother Tongue in Mathematics subject. Some teachers use the task card where the problem is written in a piece of paper or index card. The written situational word problem will be put in a bowl/box/ any recycable container. It is the same with fish bowl technique..
[Audio] Every beginning of class, teacher will call a students who wll pick a piece of paper strip in a box and read what is written problem. The student will solve the problem. Write the answer on the board. Before Mathematics class end they can choose any problem that they pick up in a bowl and act it out or having role playing. This will serve as their performance task..
[Audio] We would like to claim that situated learning theory is the ultimate solution to the problems interpreter education. We contend that the most students learn by experiencing the joys and anxieties that come with actively engaging in leading to positive learning outcomes. It’s not only because the research the supports it, but also, we live in this approach in our own teaching. Miner, Nicodemus (2021).
[Audio] The researcher conducts this study to enhance the numeracy skills of Grade 2 Learners of Poblacion Elementary Schools. The results of Numeracy Pre-Test are low performing 40.40 . The researcher come up situated learning approach to improve their numeracy skills. Learning is defined by various educationalists (Kumar, 2021 & Xin et al., 2021) as the process of assimilation of knowledge by the learner through discovery or interaction with experienced people, it also means the individual’s ability to participate in new activities, perform new tasks, and master new concepts. Learning from the viewpoint of supporters of the situated learning theory takes place through an authentic context of life situations that depend on interaction with others. Purpose of the Study.
[Audio] Due to MPS of 40.40 percent of Grade Two Learners with the total of 787 learners which is Numeracy, Last School year 2022-2023 Mrs. Leona Sena Math Poblacion Elementary School Mathematics Coordinator develop a Project Mathematics Interactive, Numeracy Development or “PROJECT MIND” to enhance numeracy skills. Through this result and the researcher crafted as well as all math teacher in Poblacion Elementary School conduct some intervention. Mrs. Leona S. Sena our Mathematics Coordinator use Project MIND (Mathematics Interactive Numeracy Development) Program, in connection of the said program researcher use “Situated Learning Strategies” as one of intervention in numeracy..
[Audio] The role of the teacher in the situated learning environment is determined in designing and preparing activities and their tools, and working as a facilitator of learning, and as a member of the learning community (Kumar, 2021; Kurniawan et al., 2020). It is also assumed that if the learner acquires knowledge using a material in a specific context, it will be easier to retrieve knowledge in a similar context, but he may not be able to retrieve it in different contexts and may not retrieve it at all (Alzahrani, 2022; Anderson et al., 1996; Assefa & Eshetu, 2019; Csíkos & Hidayatullah, 2022) Purpose Of The Study.
[Audio] As result of Low MPS, the researcher chooses Grade 2 learners as a participant in this study. Situated Learning will anchor to the Project MIND The researcher design will be use in this study is descriptive survey method. The researcher instrument will be survey method questionnaire and it will be given to selected elementary school learners of Pobalcion Elementary School. Methodology.
[Audio] The researcher design will be use in this study is descriptive survey method. The researcher instrument will be survey method questionnaire and it will be given to selected elementary school learners of Muntinlupa. with 411 male and 391 female total of 802 respondents. This study will be conduct at Poblacion Elementary school Muntinlupa City. According to Guiding our teachers: A Briefer on Using The Math MELCs. The identified most essential learning competencies in Math puts premium on the development of numeracy skills which are fundamental to practical and real-life problems, rather than Math content-knowledge; and on the development of higher-order thinking skills which goes beyond procedural fluency.
